Domino’s Southport soars with new perfect pick up service record
They did it for 33 days.
Domino’s Pizza Southport has broken the company’s record for perfect pick up service, which ended 18 June.
To achieve the perfect pick up service, a store must be able to prepare and give the pick up pizza to customers within a short allotted period of time. Domino’s targeted goal is take the order within 2 minutes, another 3 minutes to make it, and let it cook in the oven for 7 minutes.
Domino’s Southport was able to maintain the perfect pick up service for a total of 33 full days.
“The Southport store has become famous within our Australian store community and their positive story is set to become a leading example to not only all Domino’s store, but all small businesses,” said Don Meij, CEO of Domino’s Pizzas.
Ash Downs, Southport store manager, played a big role in the store’s success, not only by setting this new record but also by increasing the store’s sales by double-digit figures.
“I’ve been working in Domino’s stores for over ten years and always try and give my team goals to work towards.
“It all comes down to positive store culture – we have had no new staff, we’ve just shifted our attitudes and are all working together to achieve this great result as a team,” added Downs.
