
Coffee Club reveals massive plans to launch 56 new stores

As the brand prepares for its 25th anniversary, The Coffee Club revealed its massive plans to unveil 56 new stores globally this year.
The brand shared that more than 400 enquiries were received from potential franchise partners last year.
As a result, The Coffee Club will be targeting Victoria and Western Australia as key growth areas to expand its network in the country.

Below is a Q&A with Arif Khan, General Manager of The Coffee Club.
QSR Media: The after 5pm menu: how is that going?
Khan: The after 5pm menu it is available at our CAFE BAR restaurants, we have seen a lift in it since introducing, it working well for us.
QSR Media: Can you give us an update of your new store design roll out; has anything surprised you with the new design?
Khan: There are currently around 25 stores Australia with the new design. It is very well received by both our customers and franchise partners.
In terms of results, for the refurbished stores they are exceeding budget, we are seeing lifted average weekly sales. Anywhere around 10-15% lift in sales.
For new stores there is no historical data to compare with but they have delivered to budget projected sales.
QSR Media: As part of your brand transformation you recently opened your first Drive Thru, can you give us an update?
Khan: It is in its early days but it is going well for us. 2014 we will open moreDrive Thru's, existing franchisees are looking for Drive Thrus, esp in QLD. Watch this space.
