Check out Gloria Jean's first drive thru store in Oz

It is located in North Lakes, Brisbane.

Gloria Jean’s Coffees opened the doors of their first drive thru store on the Bruce Highway, at the corner of Stapylton & Mason Streets North Lakes, Brisbane on 20 September 2013.

The new outlet sits at the 5,500-square meter Lakes Centre Development.

Gloria Jean’s shared that the rapid growth of the surrounding areas and the needs of commuters served as crucial factors for the brand’s decision in launching the new concept store.

Aside from the drive thru offering, the new store also provides customers both an indoor and outdoor seating for dining customers.

“We’re delighted to continue to meet our existing guests’ needs with the new North Lakes location but also to cater to new guests, particularly people travelling on the highway, by providing them with a quick and convenient yet high-quality coffee experience that we are known for.

“We’ve also had a lot of mothers with young children tell us the drive-thru coffee house is perfect for them, as they can get their coffee quickly and without having to take the kids out of the car.

“We believe that the drive-thru model is one that has a lot of potential for our business going forward,” said Nabi Saleh, Executive Chairman of Gloria Jean’s Coffees.
