Baskin-Robbins partners with McGrath Foundation to support families experiencing breast cancer
Baskin-Robbins is donating $5 from every ice cream cake purchased in the week leading up to Mother’s Day.
The dessert chain hopes to raise over $5,000 to help fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia.
Baskin-Robbins General Manager, Ben Flintoff, said over five years, Baskin-Robbins has proudly raised over $145,000 for the McGrath Foundation through their various fundraising initiatives.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with the McGrath Foundation this year and invite guests to purchase any ice cream cake to celebrate Mother’s Day, with $5 of every cake sale going towards providing families affected by breast cancer with the specialist support of McGrath Breast Care Nurses,” said Flintoff.
As part of the McGrath Foundation’s 2017 ‘Moments with Mum’ campaign, this Mother’s Day Baskin-Robbins is offering guests a marshmallow Tuxedo Cake, featuring the guests’ choice of Baskin-Robbins 31 premium ice cream flavours and chocolate plaques including the limited edition McGrath Foundation branded plaque and completed with mini marshmallows topping.
McGrath Foundation Ambassador and Director, Tracy Bevan, said she is grateful for Baskin-Robbins’ continued support to the McGrath Foundation, which currently funds 117 McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia.
“Celebrating Mother’s Day with a Baskin-Robbins cake is such a great way to show Mum how sweet she is, and this year it means you’re also helping families affected by breast cancer have access to a McGrath Breast Care Nurse – it’s a win-win,” she said.
The special edition cake is available nationwide from Sunday 7 May 2017 until Saturday 13 May 2017 while stocks last.
