Canstar Blue shares unique coffee shop complaints

New satisfaction survey also showed 20% of the respondents admitted to being coffee snobs.

Canstar Blue has surveyed 1,700 adults who have provided some unique complaints. Some of the best ones include:

  • It was kids making the food, I don’t trust kids – they probably spit in my coffee
  • The milk in my flat white coffee was headed way too high – it burned my mouth and left an awful burnt milk taste
  • Sometimes my Thai soya has lumps in it, which they say comes from the soy milk

In addition, the survey also showed that:

  • 12% of respondents judge others on the type of coffee they drink
  • 27% of respondents would skip a meal before skipping a coffee
  • 55% of respondents have had the same coffee order for several years
  • 31% of respondents say staff at their regular coffee shop know their order off by heart
  • 20% of respondents consider themselves a coffee snob
  • 25% of respondents say drinking coffee makes them feel sophisticated
