Subway adds fresh baby spinach to its salad range
Fresh and all homegrown.
Subway Restaurants (SUBWAY) widens its salad range with the addition of free baby spinach to their permanent lineup of sandwich fillings.
Despite its already broad salad offering, the addition of the Australian-grown leafy green is another reason for consumers to feel good about choosing to eat at the sandwich chain, said Gina Kahler, Marketing Director of Subway Australia and New Zealand.
Adding, “spinach perfectly complements our salad range and reinforces that at Subway, people can choose from a wide range of subs, dressings and salad options, and have their lunch or breakfast made the way they say.”
The chain expects the baby spinach to be a popular item in its salad range.
Kahler also shared that Subway is offering free avocado on any sub for a limited time, at participating restaurants. "So our customers can really power-pack the sub of their choice,” she said.
