Grill’d celebrates ‘Stranger Things 4’ with new Demogorgon-inspired burger
The chain’s Galeries restaurant in Sydney CBD was also transformed to look like the show’s ‘Upside Down’ dimension.
Grill’d has partnered with Netflix to launch the limited edition Demogorgon Burger, inspired by the release of Stranger Things 4.
The Demogorgon Burger features a grass-fed Australian beef patty, roasted peppers, dill pickles, and cos lettuce, smothered in backyard burger sauce and sour cream. A buffalo dipping sauce is also provided.
The chain’s Galeries restaurant in Sydney CBD was also transformed to look like the show’s “Upside Down”, where fans can “step through the rift into an immersive world complete with vines, floating spores and interactive experiences.”
There is also a national consumer promotion for Relish Members, with a trip for two to San Francisco to experience the Stranger Things: The Experience fan exhibit as the major prize.
“Netflix and Grill’d partnering on this phenomenal series has been a monster journey. The best way to immerse yourself in the new season is by defeating your very own Demogorgon, alongside the gang from Hawkins,” Grill’d chief marketing officer Ben Goss said.
Eduardo Mendez, Netflix ANZ head of marketing partnerships, added: “Stranger Things is a global phenomenon which continues to entertain people of all ages. Netflix is thrilled to celebrate the fandom of Stranger Things with Grill'd in Australia. What better way to mark the new season premiere with the release of this epic Demogorgon Burger."
The Demogorgon Burger is available for a limited time at all Grill’d restaurants until June 16 and is delivered exclusively via its own delivery service and Uber Eats.
