The Coffee Club puts fritter stacks on the menu
The brand introduced a new range of Fresh Fritter Stacks to its all-day breakfast menu.
The Coffee Club put a modern spin on the corn fritter with the release of the new fritter stack selection in 292 cafes nationwide; with the addition of breakfast favourites including poached eggs, smoked bacon and mushrooms.
Minor DKL General Manager Marketing, Greg Bowell, said the new range is part of the already famous all-day breakfast menu and give Australians even greater incentive to spend quality time with friends and family.
“Corn fritters are quintessentially Australian and have been embraced by famous chefs, local cafes and home-cooks both here and abroad including Bill Granger,” he said.
“We’re excited to put a fresh twist on the humble corn fritter by pairing it with trending and traditional ingredients such as smashed avocado, chorizo or poached eggs in order to drive the resurgence of fritters at a national level.
The three new Fresh Fritter Stacks options are as follows:
Fritters with poached egg - Freshly made sweet corn, zucchini and pea fritters layered with smashed avocado, rocket, and fresh tomato salsa, topped with a poached egg. Served with tomato relish.
Fritters with smoked bacon - Freshly made sweet corn, zucchini and pea fritters layered with bacon, rocket, fresh tomato salsa and smashed avocado. Served with tomato relish.
Fritters with chorizo, bacon and mushroom - Freshly made sweet corn, zucchini and pea fritters layered with chorizo, bacon, roasted capsicum, mushroom and onion in a tomato salsa. Served with fresh rocket and smashed avocado.
The new Fresh Fritter Stacks start at $11.90, and is available for a limited time only.
