Below is a Q&A with Frank Taddeo, Chief Executive of Fasta Pasta.

QSR Media: What is the concept behind Fasta Pasta’s new look?

Frank: The concept behind Fasta Pasta’s new look was to make our restaurants more current and contemporary – by improving the ambiance for our existing customers, we could also attract new ones.

QSR Media: What pushed the company to upgrade its branding and the brand’s look?

Frank: Fasta Pasta’s branding hadn’t been upgraded or refreshed for many years. Being aware of changing customer expectations, Fasta Pasta felt it was time to review its positions in the hospitality market.

QSR Media: How do you think customers will respond to these changes?

Frank: The changes have already begun and the response has been fantastic. Our customers have responded positively and in many instances have provided feedback of the same to both our restaurants and through to our head office.

QSR Media: Tell us more about the new logo and what message it conveys.

Frank: Fasta Pasta’s new logo moves away from the inference that we are a fast food chain (plate with the wings) to more of a casual dining restaurant. Simple colours, simple lines, but without losing our Italian heritage which is the spaghetti loop.
