Coca-Cola Amatil, V8 Supercars boost Eagle Boys' pizza promo

Major prize is a 'money-can't-buy' reward.

Eagle Boys Pizza, along with Coca-Cola Amatil and V8 Supercars, has recently launched their latest campaign called the “Get a Pizza the Action” promo. The brand is giving one lucky customer a chance to win the opportunity to experience the 2013 Supercheap Auto Bathrust 1000 and Armor Gold Coast 600, the year’s biggest V8 Supercars events.

Below is a Q&A with Kate Pettiford, Eagle Boys Head of Marketing.

QSR Media: What inspired Eagle Boys and Coca-Cola Amatil to come up with the "Get a Pizza the Action" promo?

Kate: We wanted to offer our customers something more than just our delicious tasting pizzas. Pizza and sport has always been a great combo so we approached Coca- Cola Amatil to engage them as our partner for an exciting prize giveaway. CCA is already a sponsor of the V8 Supercars, so we thought giving away the chance to win the Ultimate V8 Supercars Experience at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 and the Armor All Gold Coast 600 would be the perfect fit.

QSR Media: What is the main goal of this campaign?

Kate: The main goal of Eagle Boys Pizza’s “Get a Pizza the Action” is to reward our loyal customer base with a money-can’t-buy reward to thank them for their continued support.

QSR Media: How has the response been for your latest promo?

Kate: We have had a great response from both our franchise network and our customer base. Customers are enjoying the Triple Pizza Deals and are loving the ease of entering the competition when they order online at www.eagleboys.com.au.

QSR Media: How has it been working with the people from V8 Supercars in creating this promo for your customers?

Kate: Having the V8 Supercars Experience as a major prize has been exciting for Eagle Boys and we’re very pleased with CCA for allowing us to be involved, given the strong synergies between our brands. Our franchisees within the network are passionate about delivering great quality pizzas for their customers, and the people at V8 Supercars are passionate about creating exciting and popular events.
