Lyndhurst Public School wins Muffin Break Great Bake Sale

It topped the National and NSW Leaderboards to beat more than 2,735 registered schools.

The Muffin Break Great Bake Sale competition called for schools to register on the Muffin Break page on Facebook, before rallying ‘Likes’ for their school during the voting period. The five-week digital campaign was open all to pre-schools, primary schools and high schools across Australia and New Zealand.

As the National winner, Lyndhurst Public School won a state-of-the-art You-Touch Interactive LCD Panel valued at more than $8,700. It also earned the NSW state prize of 1,000 freshly baked muffins from Muffin Break.

Lyndhurst Public School will sell its state-prize muffins at an upcoming bake sale event, and funds raised will be used on a three-day excursion to Sydney for their students.

The other winners of the state prize of 1,000 muffins are Latham Primary School (ACT), Wandong Primary School (VIC), Bouldercombe State School (QLD), Fairview Park Primary School (SA), Windermere Primary School (TAS), and Good Shepherd Lutheran College (NT).
