Guzman Y Gomez reveals upcoming plans for 2014
There’s a new drink in the works.
Mexican QSR chain, Guzman Y Gomez (GYG), reported that it has been a successful year for the brand, with the opening of 17 new stores across the country and even the launch of their first ever store in the international market.
The brand opened the doors of its first international store in Asia Square, Singapore, where over 3,165 customers came to celebrate and showed their support.
GYG also launched new products such as Fajita and Enchilada style Burritos, Roasted Tomato Salsa, and introduced a revamped look for the brand’s menus and restaurant design.
This coming 2014, the brand revealed that a new drink, called GYG’s Frozen Latin Lemonade, is already in the works. It is a combination of Finlandia Vodka and Chambord Black Raspberry Liquer.
In the same light, a new clamshell packaging will also be debuted in restaurants soon.
Moreover, GYG is also planning to introduce integrated ordering in their GOMEX loyalty app next year.
The brand also noted that they are close to reaching the $250,000 target for their Mision Mexico project, where over $150,000 have already been raised.
