Baskin-Robbins appoints new Senior Leadership Team member
The chain welcomes Carol Lacey.
Baskin-Robbins has appointed Lacey as the new National Supply Chain Manager and member of the Senior Leadership Team for the brand.
“Product supply and distribution is absolutely critical for a franchise business that is spread across a country as vast as Australia, so, Carol’s appointment could not come at a more appropriate time. Carol will play a key role in Baskin-Robbins strategic growth by effectively managing our supply chain across the country in order to meet the demand for our premium, quality ice cream and desserts,” said David Jordan, General Manager of Baskin-Robbins Australia.
“Carol’s immediate focus will be to ensure our supply chain and 3PL partners are ready to meet the strong sales growth we anticipate over the spring and summer periods. I also look forward to the contribution Carol will make through delivering a more cost effective COG (Cost of Goods) model for our franchise partners ensuring them greater returns.”
With store growth of more than 25% per year planned for the next three years, Jordan commented “We have great confidence that Carols experience will place Baskin Robbins in a strong position to add further value to our expanding network.”
