Paleo Café founder named FCA Franchise Woman of the Year
Marlies Hobbs was awarded at the Franchise Council of Australia Excellence in Franchising Awards at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast.
“My husband, Jai, and I risked everything to open the first Paleo Café in Cairns in 2012 and our business has quickly grown into a successful international franchise. I am truly honoured to receive this award amongst a category of strong business women leading the way in the franchise world,” Hobbs said.
“I am well aware that this award is a reflection of each of our passionate and dedicated franchisees, each Franchise Support Office staff member who shares our vision for Paleo Café international and world change and each staff member who serves with compassion and a supportive voice.”
Paleo Café has recently announced plans to open a store in New Zealand, and to launch a new fast food-oriented Paleo Café Express.
