QSR Media: What makes you excited about your position?

Jennifer Vink: The opportunity to work for the world’s largest ice cream brand and improve my personal skills and competencies, especially on system integration, which is one of my core projects this year.

QSR Media: What are your key business philosophies?

Vink: To maintain open and honest communication with both external and internal stakeholders. I believe honesty and integrity are the two key cornerstones a business requires to achieve and maximise their success.

QSR Media: What goals are you focused on?

  • The successful integration of the new accounting platform.
  • Providing analysis on store performances to improve Franchise Partner profitability.
  • Implementing best practise principles for franchise management accounting.

QSR Media: What previous positions prepared you for this one and how?

Vink: I have been in the accounting profession since I graduated from university in 2006. I spent the first few years of my career in a chartered environment where I built up my accounting knowledge as well as the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines. Since moving into the commercial sector in 2010, I have held various finance positions in both ASX listed and private companies, where my responsibilities have included a wide range of tasks from compliance, analysis to process improvement. These skills enabled me to work effectively with key stakeholders and senior management.
