Zambrero has appointed Karim Messih as the brand’s new General Manager.

Messih has over 30 years of experience in franchise businesses, being the former General Manager for Video Ezy and holding respective executive positions in Jetset Tours for seventeen years.

QSR Media: What makes you excited about your new position?

Messih: I’m working for a great brand, with a great team and in a growth category that has huge potential.

QSR Media: What 3 goals are you focused on?

Messih: For me, my initial goals here at Zambrero are 1. Setting the foundations for the brand’s future and ensuring we have the best processes in place.

2. Ensuring we continue to grow as a brand and expand nationally.

QSR Media: What will you do differently in this position?

Messih: I will not compromise on our vision or core values of the brand.

QSR Media: What changes are you planning for?

Messih: The first phase of my job is to implement the administrative and operational processes which will ensure we are prepared for our growth plans.

QSR Media: What are you key business philosophies?

Messih: Surround yourself with great people, build solid processes, be accountable and strive to create a culture of success.

QSR Media: What previous positions prepared you for this one and how?

Messih: After 30 years in franchising, there isn’t much I haven’t seen!

Managing and dealing with individual entrepreneurs and the challenges of day to day retail have given me the experience to prepare Zambrero for the growth we will achieve.
