RFG profit up to $28.5m

Earnings before interest and tax rose 5.3% in FY12.

An announcement by Retail Food Group said this “represented not only a robust but more importantly evidence of a vibrant and sustainable business model.”

RFG’s higher EBIT translated into net profit after tax of $28.5 million. When viewed through the prism of core operations, NPAT is $30.3 million or an 8.9% increase over FY11.

CEO and Managing Director Tony Alford said the three newly acquired ‘vibrant and successful’ brand systems have facilitated entry into new markets and sustained growth.
