Quick Service Restaurant Holdings appoints Jamie McKaughan as Oporto general manager

McKaughan has over 28 years of experience in the franchise sector.

Quick Service Restaurant Holdings announced the recent appointment of Jamie McKaughan to the position of Oporto General Manager following the departure of former CEO Jeff Fisher.

Jamie has extensive experience within the franchise sector gained over a 28 year period in some of the most well known and successful franchise systems including Oporto, McDonalds, Burger King and Gloria Jean’s.

He originally joined Oporto in 2003 holding the positions of National Operations and Training Manager during a four year period.

Quick Service Restaurant Holdings CEO Mark Lindsay told why he believes Jamie will be successful in his new role.

“Jamie brings more than two decades of quick service restaurant experience to the role of General Manager. I have every confidence that his clear focus on operational excellence is exactly the style of leadership needed to guide the brand through its next phase of growth,” said Mark.

Jamie has a Certificate in Advanced Retail Management and has completed the Executive Management Development Program at Macquarie University.
