Gathering over 500 senior executives from Australia’s biggest QSR brands in 2017, the event is now launching its fifth installment in Sydney. It is slated to be the largest and the most anticipated event of the Quick Service Restaurants and Fast Casual Dining sector.
The event will bring together leaders from different fields and niche of the QSR space, ranging from the experts of the front-line engagement to menu innovation and restaurant design to the major leagues across the spectrum of the industry. The QSR Media Conference and Awards will be held on the 13th of June at the Sofitel Hotel in Sydney, Australia from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Industry thought leaders
The full-day event will be packed with insightful presentations to be delivered by representatives from some of the biggest brands and sought after analysts in the industry.
To kick off the Conference, Bruce Billson, Executive Chairman of Franchise Council of Australia will discuss how to restore confidence in the franchise system.
This will be followed by the Leaders’ Panel consisting of craveable brands. CEO, Minor DKL Food Group CEO, Subway's Assistant Regional Director, and Chatime Australia's general manager. They will discuss the opportunities and challenges presented by a new generation of consumers as well as the emergence of new technologies.
Third-party aggregators including Deliveroo, Menulog, Uber Eats, and Foodora will also be present at the event and they will answer questions from home delivery to the cost of going digital in the present QSR landscape.
We also have sessions which will look at the emergence of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies within the multi-site restaurant industry, as well as the digital innovations aiming to further reshape the customer experience.
The rest of the sessions are all packed with actionable insights for you to take back and apply to your business. Then, there is the networking part - an opportunity to be with 500 peers in the same industry from around the region, all facing the same issues, and the chance to meet and talk with them.
