How Milky Lane, Crust Pizza teamed up to develop ‘epic’ pizza-burger menu
The partnership was in the works for about six months.
Two QSR brands in Australia – Milky Lane and Crust Pizza – have partnered to create four menu items that combined pizza and burgers.
These menu items are a fusion of Milky Lane’s best burgers such as beef burgers and chicken burgers and Crust Pizza’s best pizza creations such as Hawaiian and Peri-Peri Pizza.
For both brands, this partnership was meant to offer customers fresh ingredients and allow fans to connect in these restaurants whilst enjoying good food.
In a quick Q&A interview, Alana Wilson, marketing manager of Crust Pizza, and Milky Lane founder Christian Avant discussed the inspiration behind their hybrid menu items, which stemmed from a partnership that took them months to build.
QSR Media: What's the inspiration behind the team-up?
Wilson: We're always looking to bring innovatively and on-trend product experiences to our customers. Milky Lane is best known for its epic creations so it was the perfect partner to create something incredible. We've had this partnership in the works for over six months now so we're all very excited to see it come to life.
What's the story behind the menu choices?
Avant: We've collaborated to combine the best of Milky Lane, with the best of Crust Pizza. Each new item is inspired by our existing fan favourite menu items.
What are the goals of the company from these menu innovations?
Avant: Keep pushing the boundaries and make the impossible possible! We always love a challenge and our goal is to keep bringing the best of the best food creations to our customers.
