Rolld teams up with Blue Dragon Foundation to raise $80,000 for charity

The Vietnamese street food brand announced that it is partnering with the Blue Dragon Foundation to raise $80,000 to build a boarding house in Dien Bien, Vietnam.

Rolld created a Blue Dragon Box which contains a new menu item, the bao burger. For $10.90, customers can receive 2 bao burgers and 1 Schweppes drink. From each sale Rolld will donate $2 to the Blue Dragon Foundation.

Based in Vietnam but run by Australian Michael Browowski, the Blue Dragon Foundation is a volunteer organization which provides services tailored to the individual needs of poor children in Vietnam, including education, nutrition, health care, counselling, physical and creative activities, rescue, legal advocacy and safe shelter.

To date, the organization has sent 4,048 kids back to school & training; provided shelter to 292 girls & boys; built 82 homes for families; reunited 320 runaways with their families; taken 1,316 kids for health checks; and more.

Rolld said that this has been an ongoing partnership for over two years between the foundation and the brand, with Rolld CEO and co-founder Bao Hoang having travelled to Vietnam to see the work that Blue Dragon do in Vietnam with street kids.
