Pizza Capers teams up with Red Bull
The pizza brand announced that they will be partnering with the energy drink and media brand, Red Bull, making Pizza Capers the first Quick Service Restaurant brand in Australia to stock the energy drink nationally.
Pizza Capers General Manager Sunny Olak said Pizza Capers are thrilled to be the first Quick Service Restaurant brand in Australia to offer Red Bull energy drink on the menu.
“We’re excited to expand our beverage selection to include Red Bull, especially because it makes us the first pizza brand in Australia to serve Australians with this globally recognised energy drink” he said.
“We think there are great synergies between Pizza Capers and Red Bull,” he said. “Our customers are fun seekers looking for a great foodie experience so we know they’ll relate to the Red Bull® brand which is appreciated worldwide by top athletes, students, busy professionals and travellers on long journeys”.
“We also know that consumers have different needs when it comes to choosing a beverage and energy drinks offer consumers the added functional benefit to keep them going throughout the day!” he added.
Olak said that in recent years, energy drinks have transitioned from a niche product to becoming a more considered beverage choice in the country, with profit margins taking over those of soft drinks.
“The energy drink market is worth $554.6M in retail sales value in Australia and growing +3.4%*. By partnering with Red Bull®, we’re well placed to capitalise on this trend. We look forward to the opportunities the partnership presents us including accelerated growth for both brands.”
Pizza Capers is celebrating the partnership with the launch of a new pizza and combo deal that will be flying into stores this week.
“The Flying Pig pizza is loaded with premium sliced leg ham, rasher bacon, onion and mozzarella on a smokey BBQ sauce base finished with hollandaise and fresh shallots, topped with four of our delicious BBQ Bourbon chicken wings!,” Olak said.
