Searches for vegan, keto items in Uber Eats up by 25%

The amount of searches for ‘vegan’, ‘keto’ and ‘kombucha’ in the Uber Eats platform increased by more than 25% compared to 12 months earlier in Australia, the platform reveals.
In one month alone, there were 37,000 salads ordered in the country in one month alone.
Most Aussies are described as “most peckish” at 6pm on a Friday. Whilst 16,000 litres of hot beverages were ordered using the Uber Eats app in 2019, the platform says its surprised that there were more orders for juice than coffee.
Poke Bowls remain popular, with over 159,000 orders so far this year. The Halal Snack Pack, meanwhile, is the most popular meal after midnight especially for Melborunians.
