Bubba Pizza to serve free anti-hangover packs for AFL Grand Final
The brand partnered with Australian brand Bae Juice for the creation of the packs.
Bubba Pizza together with Australian beverage brand Bae Juice will be giving away free anti-hangover packs for footy fans to enjoy during the AFL Grand Final weekend.
Both brands are leaning on the fact that many Australians love a slice of cold pizza to soothe their hangovers.
“As the AFL Grand Final approaches, so too does Australia’s biggest hangover. To prepare for what I like to call Grand Hangover Day, Bubba Pizza has teamed up with Bae Juice to deliver free cold Aussie pizzas and Korean pear juice to beat the post-Grand Final blues” said Damian Hopper, Bubba Pizza Director.

But why Korean pear juice? Tim O'Sullivan, Co-Founder of Bae Juice, explains: "Korean pear juice has been a centuries-old remedy for reducing hangover symptoms. It acts on key enzymes in alcohol metabolism, aiding the body in processing and eliminating alcohol faster, making it the perfect drink to enjoy before your Grand Final party kicks off.”
To avail, customers need only head to any Bubba Pizza store or order online to score their free Hangover Pack. Bubba Pizza will also offer an after-hangover recovery with its free Byebye Grand Hangover Pack which includes two slices of cold Aussie pizza plus two Bae Juices.
Bubba Pizza expects to make over 8,500 pizzas for the promo.
