They are pushing for higher wages.
According to a report from Inside Retail, thousands of McDonald’s employees across 60 cities in the United States went on a strike to increase their wages.
The fast food employees are fighting for $US15 per hour, which is double of what they are currently earning.
Along with this, they are also pushing for the right to form a union without retaliation.
