Keep your customers cool with the Brema Pebble Ice Maker in your kitchen

This reliable equipment makes pebble ice – a midpoint between fast-ice and the classic flake ice.

If you have already invested in reliable equipment for your cooking requirements in the kitchen, it may be time to also invest in high-quality tools that enable you to serve refreshing beverages and provide your customers with a complete, satisfying dining experience.

Needless to say, a reliable ice-making equipment is a must-have in every restaurant’s kitchen and the Brema Pebble Ice Maker, or the Brema TB Series, is the perfect fit.

The Brema TB Series are self-contained, under bench ice machines producing pebble ice through a fast and efficient refrigerating effect. A mix of granular and cube ice, and is the meeting point between fast-ice and the classic flake ice — the pebble ice is particularly versatile and suitable for many uses.

“The small ice particles can be added to liquids for immediate cooling or easily blended for cocktails, smoothies and frappes, making these pebble ice makers perfect for bars and cafés, but also for QSRs that also offer a wide array of beverages,” says Paul Gruar, National Accounts Manager at Comcater.

Efficient, space-saving ice-makers

Since it is a self-contained ice machine, the Brema Pebble Ice Maker serves as an ice machine and a storage bin in one.

As one unit doing two jobs, the Brema Pebble Ice Maker is perfect for restaurants with a relatively smaller kitchen.

The Brema Pebble Ice Makers, or the Brema TB Series, have two models which only differ on their capacity and production level. The Brema TB852A generates 85 kilograms of pebbles ice per 24 hours and has a 20-kilogram storage capacity. Meanwhile, the Brema TB1405A model, which has a storage capacity of 50 kilograms, produces 140 kilograms of pebbles ice in 24 hours.

The Brema Pebble Ice Maker model has a disappearing insulated door which means no part protrudes when the unit is open. The Brema Pebble Ice maker also has adjustable stainless steel feet, between 110mm and 150mm, so it can be perfectly fit in its allotted space in your kitchen.

High quality, environmentally friendly equipment

The Brema Pebble Ice Maker has a hospital-grade stainless outer that is very solid and durable against corrosion.

This ice maker has an electromechanical operation system which makes it easy to use and service in any place on the planet. It also boasts of a powerful gear motor and auger system, with a rotation sensor on a low-speed shaft positioned on the auger side upstream of the gear motor. It provides a more accurate measure and better protects the gear motor.

Another key feature of this ice maker is its dust-proof water basin.

The sealed and hermetic basin is a barrier to dust and impurities.

The Brema Pebble Ice Makers are not only highly efficient, but they are also environmentally friendly. In 2020, Brema became an Ecoactive company by adding a range of environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant gases to their ice makers. The Brema Pebble Ice Makers are certified RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)-free, which means Brema used no dangerous materials in building these units.

Meanwhile, the machine’s water-to-ice ratio is one litre of water to one kilogram of ice, which means zero waste as every drop of water becomes usable ice.

This Brema ice maker also has HCFC-free insulated storage, which provides a very high insulation performance with no ozone-depleting substance in the cabinet insulation foam.

The Brema Pebble Ice Maker also has an on-off rocker switch, an energy-saving feature that lets you turn off the unit instead of keeping it on standby on days that your kitchen is not operating.

Keeping it clean is a breeze

Since the machine makes ice which should be produced in a piece of equipment that should never be not clean, Brema made cleaning their units a breeze.

The Brema Pebble Ice Makers have the automatic washing system, which allows the unit to turn into washing mode and shut down the compressor with a switch.

The units also have removable and cleanable air filters that can be easily removed and cleaned with no tools.

Since these ice makers have internal rounded surfaces, they have a reduced possibility of accumulation of dirt. Regular cleaning of these internal surfaces is also a breeze with no special tools required.
