SumoSalad joined forces with Lagardère Travel Retail to open the second ‘Green Label’ at Sydney Airport T2 Domestic.
“There has never been a better time to check-in early!” said Luke Baylis,CEO and Co-Founder of SumoSalad.
SumoSalad launched the first SumoSalad ‘Green Label’ store earlier this year. Born from the manifesto, Food with Purpose, the store takes a holistic approach to healthy food and how it is sourced, produced and sold in store.
“Green Label really is the next generation of SumoSalad”, Baylis said.
“Australian food choices have changed hugely since we opened our first Sumo store 12 years ago, and for the better. Healthy eating is the world’s fastest-growing food market trend, and I’m proud to say SumoSalad is the passionate and established leader in this segment."
SumoSalad ‘Green Label’ has a focus on the provenance of ingredients; sourcing seasonal produce from local suppliers, and products that are Australian made.
“No matter what time they fly from -sunrise to sunset, travellers now have a quick service, healthy alternative that tastes great!” said Petra Orrenius Head of Marketing, SumoSalad.
“The menu at the new ‘Green Label’ store at Sydney Airport’s T2 Domestic will offer something for everyone –including Breakfasts Bowls, Organic Sourdough combinations, Wraps, Cold Pressed Juice, Custom and signature Salads, Charcoal Meats, Pablo & Rusty Coffee and more.”
Resident Dietitian for SumoSalad, Georgina Moore said, “People understand it’s not only about making choices that affect your long term health, but about how great you can feel if you choose nutritious, protein rich foods that help bolster your hydration levels, especially when travelling. People want to feel comfortable during the flight and arrive feeling the best they can.”
