Food hall, dark kitchen hybrid concept opens in Melbourne

Ezikitchen is currently accepting new applications from brands to join the venue.

A concept claiming to be Australia’s first hybrid of a dark kitchen and food hall is opening in Melbourne.

Created by Ezikitchen, the ezistrEAT venue features 15 private kitchen spaces, drive-thru, space for dine-in, and at least one self-serve kiosk. Robot crews and self-pour beer taps will also be featured.

“We’re very excited to bring our new food concept to Australia, no one has done it tougher than our fellow Melbournians throughout the last 18 months. We hope our unique offering can help new restaurants launch, and existing restaurants grow their network,” said Seyun Kim, the concept’s founder.

Ezikitchen is currently accepting new applications for its North Melbourne site, with construction due to be completed by the end of 2021.
