What you must know about Burger Edge’s new Stockman’s Burger
They have teamed up with Gippsland Natural.
Burger Edge rolled out the new ‘Stockman’s Burger,’ a product that has been created with the help of the brand’s new partnership with Gippsland Natural.
The ‘from paddock to plate’ concept of the new burger allows the beef patties to be traced from its source.

Below is Q&A with Issam Soubjaki, Burger Edge Franchisor.
QSR Media: What appealed to the brand to venture into a partnership with Gippsland Natural?
Soubjaki: We found each other. Gippsland is renowned for its quality product and pristine environment. The beef is amongst the best in the world and highly sought after in the culinary circles of Australia.
We’ve been meaning to trial this beef and but needed to work with the right farmers, processors and brands.
Gippsland Natural has been a project going for more than 12 months. Gippsland Natural needed to fine tune its supply chain before we could commit to getting into our distribution network.
It is a true partnership in each other’s businesses.
QSR Media: Tell us more about the ‘from paddock to plate’ concept of the new Stockman’s Burger.
Soubjaki: The concept is simple. Any beef Pattie can now be traced to a particular beast.
This ensure purity of flavour and consistency of textures and taste.
We source our Gippsland beef from a particular stock and it is never adulterated with other breads, sources or product through the process. The source can be traced through DNA tagging.
QSR Media: What else makes the new burger stand out from those in the market?
Soubjaki: Other than the amazing taste, it is the first to use Gippsland Natural beef in patties on such a scale.
That’s all well and good, but what got us was the flavour. It truly is superb grilling.
QSR Media: What is your expectation of the new burger from a sales perspective?
Soubjaki: We expect it to be success with all burger lovers. Our customers come back to Burger Edge because we take time to make our product right.
The grilling is key to the taste and what little flavouring we added complements what our customers want from us – a delightful burger, nourishing and fresh…served with a smile.
Our testing yielded some of the best pre-launch feedback we have ever had.
QSR Media: Any other comments?
Soubjaki: We will always leave it to our customers to decide. I am sure they will be very happy with the product.
If it reaches a certain point, we will make it a permanent item on the menu – like the Lamb Pattie launched last year.
