Pizza Hut kicks off footy finals with new “Sticky Fingers”
The pizza mogul will be offering a new selection of ribs, meatballs and chicken wings in a delicious honey BBQ sauce.
Pizza Hut has launched a brand new product into its Australian menus with the arrival this week of Sticky Fingers – a selection of ribs, meatballs and chicken wings in a delicious honey BBQ sauce.
The Sticky Fingers range is the perfect food to eat while watching the footy; created to share with friends in front of any of the upcoming AFL, NRL and Rugby World Cup finals matches on TV screens in the coming weeks.
A limited time offer, Sticky Fingers is another example of menu innovation and a focus on driving sales at key times of the year, according to Pizza Hut’s Head of Marketing and Food Innovation, Australia and New Zealand Anup Jain.
“Our consumers go crazy for footy season so we wanted to give them something extra that they could enjoy with their mates during the finals. What goes together better than pizza, lamb ribs and watching football?” said Jain.
The Sticky Fingers range is being promoted in a major integrated marketing campaign involving TV, radio and online advertising, as well as social media. The campaign was created by ad agency M&C Saatchi.
Pizza Hut has already scored strong success with its recently introduced Facebook ‘Hot Offers’ promotions with fan numbers growing at a rapid rate – surging from 7,000 to 51,000 fans in six weeks – and it is expected Sticky Fingers will attract the same high level of interest online.
Sales via Pizza Hut’s recently relaunched iPhone app has tripled since its launch in August.
