Unique, Premium ingredients take the spotlight in Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar's new menu

Shows off classic pizzas with a twist.

Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar launched its annual new menu this week and features the likes of Alaskan King Crab, Duck Ragu and Vietnamese Chilli Chicken, with complimenting ingredient additions like crushed walnuts, radicchio and roasted beetroot.

"We have created some amazing on trend new dishes," said Crust Managing Director Michael Rose.

"Our new menu is a celebration of gourmet pizza and shows what can be done in this space when you use the finest ingredients and hero great produce,"

He points out to the pizza chain's classic pizza, c. 1889 Margherita, explaining its an example of a classic pizza that the brand has elevated by using premium ingredients like buffalo mozzarella and fresh cut basil. "Customers will notice this menu really shows off the range of the ingredients in our pantry to give our customers sensational flavour combinations."

Along with seven new pizzas, Crust has launched several new sides ranging from salads and starters to dessert.

As for inspiration, Rose noted that they are inspired everyday by premium ingredients, and this new menu is no different. "We pride ourselves on our ability to source beautiful, high quality ingredients like the Alaskan King Crab for our new Upper Crust Singapore Chilli Crab Pizza. Our inspiration comes from combining amazing ingredients into unique flavour combinations for our customers, and we are always looking for new ingredients that customers might not have tried before."

AU NATUREL

Rose believes consumers are tired of seeing glamourised food and wanted to see real ingredients, so for their all new campaign photography, no staging, lighting or any other ‘tricks of the trade’ often used by other food outlets were used.

“We always showcase our new products as real, honest food and our latest new menu campaign is no different. We use only the finest ingredients, so we are confident putting our pizzas on a pedestal exactly as they come out of the oven.”

Adding, “we don’t need to add steam, plump up our ingredients, set up customised lighting or add special effects; we just leave our premium ingredients to do all the talking just as they are, and we think our customers appreciate the honesty.”
