Melbourne-based New York Minute introduces plant-based options
It currently has ten locations.
Melbourne-based burger chain New York Minute has partnered with supplier v2food to introduce plant-based options through their new ‘Pick Your Protein’ concept.
Customers can either choose a v2burger or v2schnitzel plant-based option in place of beef or chicken.
“This isn’t simply a marketing exercise,” founder and CEO Antony Crowther said in a statement sent to QSR Media. “We really want people to embrace this whole plant-based movement, as we believe that eating fast can still be good for you & with v2food, good for the planet.”
“We tested most if not all of the plant-based/vegan options and brands in the market and v2food was chosen based on taste and customer feedback. They are also Aussie owned and operated, which is always important,” he added, also revealing plans to expand its range.
