KFC Australia to open pop-up store to launch new burger range
Called the Original Crispy Burger, it will become a permanent addition to the menu.
KFC Australia is adding a new permanent range to its menu and it is launching a special pop-up to let customers in Sydney try it for free.
Called the Original Crispy Burger series, it features The Original Crispy, The Original Crispy Cheese and Bacon and The Original Crispy Stacker, which has been crafted by KFC chefs to feature a swirl of creamy mayonnaise on top of a succulent, juicy, Original Crispy chicken fillet. The fillet is double-breaded to ensure a satisfying crunch.
To celebrate the launch of these culinary masterpieces, Sydneysiders can get their hands on The Original Crispy Burger for free on 17 and 18 May as KFC unveils the ‘The Original Crispery’ – a pop-up where KFC has tested the limits on what can be crispified with the entire menu being nothing short of extra crispy.

Aside from the free burger, the pop-up will also offer off-menu items that feature the special double-breaded KFC signature cooking.
“To mark the launch of our new series of Original Crispy Burgers, it was only appropriate to create an emporium of all things crispy. ‘The Original Crispery’ promises to be an avalanche on the senses. It will include an exhibition of crispy curiosities, as well as a selection of KFC-ified products, where our talented chefs will put our double breading craft to the test across a range of unexpected yet craveable treats for all fans to taste,” Tami Cunningham, CMO KFC Australia said.
