Subway comes out with Multigrain Wrap as part of its 'Eat Well, Go" campaign
The brand came out with the addition of a new Multigrain Wrap to its subs and salads menu.
A Subway spokesperson told QSR Media, "Subway leads the way for providing a range of nutritious options for customers and our new Multigrain Wraps are the perfect example of this. Containing one-third of a person’s daily target intake of wholegrains and four types of seeds and grains, Subway welcomes being the first QSR in Australia to make the commitment to providing clear and consistent wholegrain claims, according to the Grains and Legumes Nutrition Council."
"New Subway Multigrain wraps with the goodness of wholegrains and filled with lean meat and salad, offer Australian consumers a nutritious and convenient lunchtime choice. In 2016 we look forward to encouraging consumers to continue to Eat Well, and Go and get the most out of life."
The launch comes as part of a renewed strategic direction from SUBWAY which has seen the introduction of the new ‘Eat well…Go’ brand purpose. Focusing on an authentic and natural approach to promoting healthier lifestyles, the campaign seeks to encourage Australians to choose food that makes them feel good while empowering them to ‘get out and live life’.
Subway Marketing Manager, Lara Corbiere, said the new wraps provided a tasty alternative for those looking for a nutritious and substantial lunch while on the go.
“We know that our customers are an active bunch, making the Multigrain Wrap the perfect meal after a game of sport or following a surf,” she said.
“Moreover, they offer the perfect lunch option for those who are time poor yet do not want to compromise on health. We know that our customers enjoy Subway for its convenience and great tasting subs, but we also want to make sure people feel good about the better choices they’re making. SUBWAY offers something for everyone and our new Multigrain Wrap is definitely something to feel good about,” Corbiere said.
