No more artificial colours, flavours and added msg at Red Rooster
The move highlights the chain’s commitment to real food.
Red Rooster has re-formulated and deleted products and ingredients with artificial colours, flavours and added MSG across its menu.
“At Red Rooster, we believe in real food. We hand season and oven roast beautiful Aussie chickens to pair with dishes made from fresh, local produce – why would we need artificial substitutes?” said Rob Coombe, CEO of Quick Service Restaurant Holdings.
The chain dubs the move as an industry first, partnering up with Siliker, a global leader in food safety and quality to act as an independent auditor in the process.
“The Red Rooster team takes great care to serve healthier, real food. We’re passionate about making wholesome, delicious meals, which is why we have proactively removed all of the artificial colours, flavours and added MSG from the food we make,” he noted.
