Gelatissimo digitises its loyalty program

Utilises Micros' loyalty solution.

Gelatissimo has launched Club Gelato App, now available on iPhone and Android.

The Club Gelato Mobile App features a comprehensive digital experience to Gelatissimo customers, helping the brand connect with customers in new and exciting ways. Some of these features include menu, rewards, social media integration, store locator, promotions and more.

It utilises MICROS' iCare customer loyalty solution to drive customer visits and spending through iCare’s real-time, stored value and loyalty tracking. Seamlessly integrated with the MICROS point of sale system, MICROS iCare has been rolled out nationally across all 32 Gelatissimo stores and will enable the gelato chain to track and analyse customer activities from a central database.

In addition, the app is built on the award winning Mobile Den Retail Platform, enabling the chain to reach out to customers directly with engaging advertising campaigns, providing loyal customers with unique marketing messages that can be tailored based on customer transactions and preferences to increase spend, encourage repeat visits and attract customers during less busy times, while measuring response in real-time.

“By implementing MICROS iCare with the Mobile Den Retail Platform, we’ll have the necessary tools to build stronger and closer relationships with our customers and gain a better understanding of their preferences and buying patterns. The MICROS partnership has been paramount in forging ahead with these new technologies which allow us to continue to offer our customers an exceptional experience,” said Joanna Orson, Marketing Manager of Gelatissimo.

“Gelatissimo has been a great partner for many years and we are excited to be moving forward with MICROS iCare and the Club Gelato app to help build Gelatissimo’s customer base and provide more awareness of product offerings,” added Christopher Adams, Managing Director of MICROS Australia. “We are confident that Gelatissimo will realise great gains by having a better view of its customers and being able to engage with them through the industry leading Mobile Den Retail Platform.”
