Wok Me celebrates its 6th birthday
Wok Me has now opened 14 stores since their opening 6 years ago.
6 years ago founder Luke Mcgrath saw a gap in the market for healthy fast Asian food. This month marks the 6th anniversary of what started out as a hobby and now has become a passion a 24 hours a day 7 day a week passion.
“It was amazing the response when we opened we had lines out the door for months and i cant believe it but we still have regulars that started with us back then”
Wok me has grown through some hard times the GFC and founder Luke McGraths personal battle with cancer. But true to his moto “live today” Luke has taken one day at a time and now wok me has opened 14 stores with 4 more to open early in the new year with expansion plans in to NSW on the cards also.
The Asian fast food outlet is a healthy alternative to other retailers, Luke says “being diagnosed with cancer (in 2004) was a wakeup call and contributed to the creativity of a healthy difference for wok me.
“Passion passion passion is what its all about” says Mr McGrath the reason so many business fail is in my opinion is the owners lack of the die hard approach to the business you must have drive and passion.
This week wok me valley will run specials to celebrate its humble beginnings. You can get updates on this weeks activities and ongoing promotions by following wok me on their facebook fan page.
