Gong cha launches Pino Jelly merch in POP MART collaboration
This marks the first time the character has partnered with a brand outside of China.
Gong cha and POP MART are launching exclusive PINO JELLY-themed exclusive merchandise as part of a multi-country campaign.
Starting this January, Gong cha Australia will serve PINO JELLY POP MART cups to customers. With an additional $5, customers can grab a PINO JELLY beverage bag.
Gong cha is also tapping into POP MART’s blind box collectible strategy. By adding $10, customers will receive a blind pocket. The pocket will contain an exclusive collectible pin. The pins come in four different designs
A blind box is a type of packaging used for collectible items, where the specific content inside the box is hidden from the buyer until after purchase and opening. This element of surprise adds an exciting, lottery-like experience for collectors and enthusiasts. The global blind box market is projected to reach US$16.2b by 2032, according to a report by DataIntello.
The collaboration is PINO JELLY’s first-ever partnership with a beverage brand for a multi-country campaign outside of China.
