
Why QSR's veer away from the ‘perfect look’
Rustic and homemade now appeal more to consumers.
According to News.com.au, food companies are exerting effort into making their products look more ‘natural’ and ‘home-made.’ The report indicated that consumers are now more drawn towards eating food and meals that appear more wholesome and authentic, instead of those that appear excessively processed.
Companies do not anymore worry too much about getting to cut the perfect shape, as those that are unevenly cut and appear more rustic, appeal more to consumers.
