Hungry Jack’s CEO challenges staff for best shift

Aaron McKie ran a shift himself and said there’s no better way to motivate staff than to put yourself in the firing line.

The Hungry Jack’s CEO ran the day shift last weekend and challenged all district managers from around the country to run the best Hungry Jack’s shift in Australia. McKie said, “I was overwhelmed by the number of challengers, but it’s certainly made me think it should become a regular event.”

Mr McKie spent eight hours on Saturday managing quality, service and cleanliness at the fast food chain’s Mona Vale restaurant. The Mona Vale shift also allowed him to witness first-hand how the company’s recent improvements have been adopted at the front line in Hungry Jack’s 350 restaurants nationally.

“Hungry Jack’s has made significant changes over the past 12 months, from store layout and improved operation procedures to a new menu, menu boards and marketing tagline,” said McKie.
