Coalition tops Muffin Break’s Election Bean Poll for 2 weeks straight

Find out how many voted for them.

Muffin Break released the results of Week Two of their Unofficial 2013 Election Bean Poll.

Thousands of customers have cast their votes in all Muffin Break stores across the country by placing a bean in cylinders set up for the Labor Party, Coalition, Greens, or Other, with every purchase from the store.

The results from Week Two of the poll showed that 42% of Muffin Break customers are rooting for the Coalition, and 34% prefer the Labor Party. While both the Greens and ‘Other’ each got 11% of the votes.

“Our Unofficial Election Bean Poll correctly predicted the results of the Australian federal election in both 2007 and 2010.
“We may not be as scientific or complicated as other polls, but we think we can get the biggest and most accurate community response and we certainly have fun doing it.

“Some candidates in the election have even visited their local Muffin Break store to place their vote,” said Serge Infanti, Managing Director of Muffin Break.
