Burglars attacked 5 Zarraffa’s Coffee shops
All in just one night.
According to a report from NBN News, five Zarraffa’s Coffee stores were robbed last Sunday night, 23 June 2013.
The thieves first broke into the Carrara store, and then hit the brand’s Holmview store after an hour. After this, three more stores, specifically the ones in Greenslopes, Salisbury, and Springwood, were also robbed.
Zarraffa’s Executive Director, James Barritt, released a statement yesterday saying, “The robberies that occurred at our stores last night are a violation that goes further than just the theft of property or damage to the businesses.
“Real people are affected, small business owners and their dependant workforce incur actual loss of livelihood while dealing with repairs and replacements, resulting additional stress that could be avoided.
“All stores are today operational and as a group of small businesses we will support the police in their efforts to identify and detain these persons who broke the law and acted callously toward our hardworking franchisees.”
