Baskin-Robbins new snack range

Baskin-Robbins have just launched a new range of smoothies & frozen yoghurts (Click here for the story). Find out more in this mini Q&A with their GM, Ian Martin.

QSR Media: How did you come up with the flavours?
Ian: Our new fruit yoghurt range is part of Baskin-Robbins’ continuing commitment to developing new and appealing products which deliver healthy convenience. We believe that these fruit-based Smoothies will resonate with our guests and provide our guests with the quality taste and experience they expect from Baskin-Robbins. My personal favourite is Mango-licious - for true mango fans it's a must try.

QSR Media: How long will the introductory price of $4.90 be running for?
Ian: The new Yoghurt Smoothies will be available at the introductory price point of $4.90 for small 12oz beverages until 30th April 2012.

QSR Media: What kind of promotion will you be doing for the new range?
Ian: We have a range of new marketing strategies in place focusing on an innovative range of in-store materials. We have recently installed new menu boards in a number of restaurants which highlight the new yoghurt products.
Additionally, our franchise partners have been equipped with a range of local store marketing techniques which will be utilised with our online channels including our Birthday Club and Facebook page.
