American QSR’s increasingly adopting Australian enterprise data solution

As in-store sales data becomes increasingly on demand, large-scale QSR’s in the United States like Red Robin and Chicken Express are upgrading to next generation, Internet-based point-of-sale systems that can communicate data in real-time.

Both have switched to xchangexec, a fully featured cloud-based solution from Australian developer Task Retail technology, which transmits store analytics to remote managers and business owners. xchangexec also interacts with in-store technology to enable digital menu boards and send instant alerts to mobile devices.

One of the newest franchise operators to install xchangexec is Red Robin, the Denver-based company famous for its gourmet burger chains. Red Robin is now using xchangexec in its new 'Red Robin’s Burger Works' concept, to keep tabs on restaurant sales and activities.

The xchangepoint software, for example, handles store level point of sale operations, including order management, drive through, up selling, cross selling, voucher issue & redemption, integrated loyalty and kitchen monitoring systems (KMS). Meanwhile, the xchangemedia software allows a quick change of electronic menu boards, interactive touch screen applications and the delivery of point-of-purchase advertising. Red Robin managers then use xchangelive to monitor real-time business analytics through a web-enabled device or iPhone.

“Task Retail Technology is extremely proud to contribute to the launch of Red Robin’s Burger Works with Task Retail Technology’s xchangexec suite of products. The selection further exemplifies the flexibility and power of xchangexec’s ability to be deployed in large multi-unit operators across multiple concepts and brands whether it is fast casual, casual dining or QSR,” said Kym Houden, President and CEO of Task Retail Technology.

The Texas-based Chicken Express also saw one of its franchisees adopt xchangexec to positive results.

“After detailed evaluation, we chose TRT’s xchangexec, as we recognised this product as being at the cutting edge of technology. This suite of software offerings was compelling to our team as it incorporates so much more than POS, with its web-powered business intelligence, loyalty, inventory, integrated digital media, loss prevention tools, unique drive-thru technology, and enterprise control.” said Clayton Rhoades, Director of CJR Lucky, Inc, one of the franchisees under Chicken Express.

“Task Retail Technology is elated that CJR Lucky Inc. has selected our award winning xchangexec® enterprise solution. Through our certified partner, Prism Data Systems of San Antonio, Texas, we are pleased to bring the latest innovative technologies and BI analytics to CJR Lucky Inc. to facilitate real time reporting, point of purchase up-selling and enhanced customer service”, said Kym Houden, President and CEO of Task Retail Technology.

Seeing potential for growth in the US market, Task Retail Technology has recruited three new channel partners in the United States – Retail Technology Group, Prism Data Systems and Southwest POS. These 'xchangexec certified partners' saw Task Retail's xchangexec as a truly next generation, fully featured, cloud based solution, which is exactly what their clients are asking for. Xchangexec certified partners can now offer xchangexec to their restaurant and retail clients for improved point-of-sale enterprise monitoring and control.
