Paleo Café appoints Peter Goldsmith as General Manager

Peter Goldsmith will be responsible for maintaining the core values of the brand while creating a defined direction for the business.

“I’ll be maintaining the principles this business was developed upon and exploiting these for the maximum benefit for the franchisees,” Goldsmith said.

He said that he plans on opening five new cafes across Australia in the next financial year as well as one master franchise in New Zealand by November.

“It’s important the growth is controlled and the franchisees are in this franchise for the right reasons with a true belief in the Paleo lifestyle.”

“I’m looking forward to making this brand what it can be, which is nationally recognised with great food, great service and value for money,” he added.

Goldsmith was as an owner/operator of The Cheesecake Shop for six years. While still owning franchise, he was appointed as the International Operations Manager for The Cheesecake Shop opening stores in the US and UK for five years, returning to Australia for a further four years at The Cheesecake Shop head office managing and developing different aspects of the business.

He also had eight years of experience at Fastway Couriers as the General Manager in Auckland with 75 franchisees and then the flagship depot in Sydney with 183 franchisees.
