Collins Foods appoints Xavier Simonet as managing director and CEO
Simonet will join Collins Foods on 4 November.
Collins Foods Limited (Collins Foods) has announced the appointment of Xavier Simonet as the new managing director and CEO.
He will be joining Collins Foods on 4 November and will be based in the company’s Brisbane head office.
“His track record reflects his capability to successfully grow international brands and businesses while working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders,” said Robert Kaye SC, Chair of Collins Foods.
Simonet is an experienced global managing director and CEO with a track record of formulating and implementing strategic plans across multi-site retail operations.
He is currently the CEO of Austrade, the Australian government agency responsible for the promotion of international trade and investment.
Previously, he was the group CEO and Managing Director of ASX-listed Kathmandu Holdings for six years, where he managed growth and diversification of the Kathmandu, Rip Curl, and Oboz brands.
Before that, he was the CEO of Radley London and spent four years at Seafolly Group, where he was International Director.
Earlier in his career, Simonet held various management roles over 11 years with Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) in Europe, Asia, and Australia.
