Mark Bayliss is QSRH’s new CEO
The former CFO of Fairfax will assume the post on 30 April 2012 as co-CEO Tim Tighe leaves the business.
Meanwhile Mark Lindsay will remain in his current role of CEO until June 30, 2012 after which time he will assume the role of Non Executive Director.
The appointment comes after Quick Service Restaurant Holdings’ announcement that it has closed its three Oporto outlets in China. Lindsay previously said that the future growth of Oporto, a wholly owned subsidiary of QSRH, will be focused domestically given the current volatility of global markets.
In the domestic market, the Oporto brand was recently represented in the “On The Run” retail concept in Adelaide as part of the Peregrine Corporation. The company, which operates more than 89 petrol and convenience stores across Adelaide, acquired the master franchise for Oporto in South Australia.
