Franchised Food Company’s new Head of Business Development, Phill Tucker

The Franchised Food Company (FFCo) has appointed Phill Tucker as the company’s new head of Business Development.

He was the former development manager for Eagle Boys for eight years.

Mr. Tucker expressed his enthusiasm about joining the FFCo team, saying “I’m thrilled to have been given this opportunity with Franchised Food Company and am looking forward to bringing my years of experience within the franchising sector to help develop the FFCo brands. I’ve got a lot of enthusiasm coming into this company; as FFCo has already made progress in the industry.”


The Franchised Food Company specializes in the ‘fun treats market’ incorporating brands such as Cold Rock Ice Creamery, Mr Whippy, Pretzel World, and Nutshack.

 

Q&A with Phill Tucker

QSR Media: What makes you excited about your new position?
Phill: The opportunity for growth within all of the Franchised Food Company brands and working with a very enthusiastic team who are keen to develop not only the network, but also themselves.

QSR Media: What three goals are you focused on?
Phill: The growth of the brands, Reviewing processes to achieve better results, Creating value for all stakeholders

QSR Media: What will you do differently in this position?
Phill: I hope to develop the brands by bringing in the relevant processes and procedures from my experience in a similar role. I’m focused on merging the site leasing, franchise recruitment and construction roles into one area, creating an easier rollout for new business.

QSR Media: What changes are you planning for?
Phill: Stimulating the overall strength of the brands, developing models that meet opportunities within various markets, and increasing in-store growth.

QSR Media: What are your key business philosophies?
Phill: Being transparent, having clear direction and developing and maintaining good communication skills.

QSR Media: What previous positions prepared you for this one and how?
Phill: Owning a franchise and my various roles within the franchise sector over the past 20 years has given me the opportunity to strengthen my expertise. With a focus on leasing, franchise recruitment and brand growth, my work over the past eight years with Eagle Boys has been great grounding and preparation for this new role.
