Zarraffa's Coffee opens 75th store in Ipswich
Jason Meares' family in Queensland opened the latest Zarraffa’s Coffee drive thru at Yamanto in Ipswich.
The new store will be the 75th for the Australian-owned specialty coffee franchise, located at 422-428 Warwick Rd Yamanto, and will be operated in a partnership between Meares and his wife Leah's family.
Meares and his mother-in-law Deslee Davis will work side-by-side in the new drive thru site, which is in addition to the family’s first store located in Loganlea.
“It’s not your typical working partnership,” Meares said.
“I’m lucky in that I have a great respect for Deslee and Jeff, and we are all used to working together at the Loganlea store. It is a real family affair and one that means we are able to tackle things sometimes with more honesty.”
“We’ve enjoyed such great support since opening and are keen to commence trading at the new Yamanto store to deliver convenient and great coffee to Ipswich and surrounds,” said Deslee Davis.
Zarraffa’s CEO Kenton Campbell said the Davis family and their store growth are a great example of what the specialty coffee brand is able to deliver to franchise owners.
“Multi-site ownership makes up a large part of our company now, with our franchisees seeing the benefit of owning additional stores, through a greater understanding of the market and our operation, to deliver returns. I take great pleasure in seeing our franchisees reach their financial goals, through new stores, while providing our coffee to a larger number of customers, in more convenient locations, every day.”
