"I'm lovin' it": McDonald's to open branches in Masters stores

Each restaurant will provide jobs for 50 to 70 local residents.

Masters Home Improvement and McDonald’s announced an agreement which will see McDonald’s become the foodservice provider within Masters stores.

Masters is the brand new big box home improvement concept backed by Woolworths and US retailer Lowe’s and is due to open its very first store in Braybrook, VIC in September. The store will feature a modern, state-of-the-art McDonald’s restaurant offering customers a full menu range, McCafe, dining room and children’s Playland.

Each restaurant will be owned and operated by local franchisees and will provide job opportunities for 50 to 70 local residents in addition to the 130 new jobs created by Masters.

Masters CEO Don Stallings said: “We’re excited to be able to provide our customers with the complete package destination – a unique shopping experience and a convenient dining opportunity under one roof. Whether you’re a tradie needing a hearty breakfast or a home decorator making colour choices over coffee and a pastry, you’ll find it all at Masters.”

Alison Shillington, National Real Estate Director for McDonald’s Australia added: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Masters on this exciting new venture in the Australian marketplace and look forward to offering Masters Home Improvement customers the great taste of both McDonald’s and McCafé during their visit.”
